Landscape Trailers

Throughout the years NC Trailers has sold and serviced several landscape trailers. We offer a variety of options for you to choose from and make the buying process easy.

BENEFITS OF OPEN TRAILERS FOR LANDSCAPE + UTILITY

Visibility: It is undeniable that an open trailer is going to be easier for you to maneuver on the roadways. You'll be able to see behind you at all angles and this also makes it while reversing into tight areas. Not to mention, you can keep an eye on your cargo.

Loading/Accessibility: You can unload and access equipment, tools, and other cargo easier because of the open structure and low sides. If you need to grab a blower or a gas can then just reach over, unload, and complete the task at hand.

Better for debris: Not knowing what type of debris you'll encounter on the job, an open trailer gives you the flexibility of open space to handle hauling unexpected sizes and shapes. It's also easy and quick to clean.

Weight: Open landscape trailers are generally less in weight because there are fewer parts involved in the construction of the trailer. This means you'll need less towing capacity on your vehicle and it won't do as much wear on your vehicle over time. Save on fuel and service fees by going with the lightweight option.

Price: If you're on a budget one of our open utility & landscape trailer options will be your best bet.

BENEFITS OF ENCLOSED TRAILERS FOR LANDSCAPE + UTILITY

Protection: When you haul cargo and equipment in an enclosed trailer you're keeping them out of the elements. Protecting them from weather and any kind of debris that fly on the road. This is an advantage in the summertime because a lot of storms tend to form in the late afternoon hours after a long humid day.

Security: Your cargo will be less likely to be stolen when situated inside an enclosed landscape trailer. Giving you peace of mind while you're working or parked in an unfamiliar area. If you're interested in locks for added protection, check out our options here.

Storage/time: When you're done with your day the weekend has come and you don't need to utilize your trailer, you can unhitch your trailer, lock it up and use it as a storage shed. You won't have to worry about unloading and loading it every time you want to use it, saving you time and money.

Branding: Although we don't do custom wraps or sell graphics there are plenty of companies out there to help boost your business exposure. Buying an enclosed trailer gives you the option to post your graphics on the sides and back of the trailer, doing the job of advertising your business year-round.

SIZE MATTERS

The next factor you want to consider is the size of the trailer based on the type of cargo you're going to be hauling.

You'll make sure to take some measurements and make a list of the equipment you'll be transporting.

We offer enclosed trailers from ranges of 5ft to 8 1/2 ft wide and 8ft to 24ft long. Not to mention our custom ordering process where you can order trailers up to 40ft long.

We'll get into the custom ordering process later but if you need more help determining the size trailer you need, talk to one of our trailer pros.

Tell them what you'll be hauling, the jobs you're doing and they'll help you choose the right size. They have lots of experience fitting our customers with the correct trailer for particular jobs.

KNOW HOW MUCH WEIGHT YOU NEED TO TOW

Another important factor is choosing the right GVWR and hauling capacity of the trailer.

If you would like to learn more about weight ratings then head over to our blog post written on that topic here.

So, just like the size, you're going to want to account for a list of everything you'll potentially be hauling with your trailer.

Calculate the total weight of the cargo and then make sure the trailer has the correct max payload to support the weight you're going to haul.

The easiest way to calculate this number is by taking the GVWR of the trailer and subtracting the weight of the trailers.

So if the GVWR of the trailer is 10K and the trailer weighs 2,200 pounds. Then your max payload is (10,000-2,200 ) = 7,800 lbs.

Therefore, all of your cargo put onto your trailer cannot exceed 7,800 lbs. This is why it is important to select the correct weight rating when buying a new trailer.

It will ensure your trailer last throughout the years of work. If you need help determining the correct weight ratings for the trailer you need, one of our trailer pros will be happy to help.

I was approved for financing last week. With $200 down, my payment was $160.00. I held off until today. I was going to put $500 down, thinking my payment would be lower. NOPE! It went up to $216 for 36 months. That would be $8276.00 for a $2400.00 trailer!

Called to order a part. They confirmed part was in stock. Asked if they could call me back after helping a customer, closed on a Friday without calling back. Not great customer service.

Great experience with Sam as my sales consultant and the finance manager Shanice. The staff was very helpful and was able to change a bad situation into a pleasant one. Also a shout out to the guys that hooked me up to the new trailer and answered all my questions. Thanks Tyler, Noah & Christian.

I spoke with my good friend Tammy, who did all my paperwork for the sale, DMV and warranty information, about getting a new trailer. She then put me in contact with sales superstar Sam who was very patient with me. She gave me quotes on any upgrades I asked about. (As a Veteran they offer 10% off any upgrades) Shaun handled all the payment information professionally and timely. I have tons of options in my area to buy a trailer and won’t go anywhere other than NC Trailer Sales. To top it all off the guys, Noah and Christian, brought my trailer out to me with my inspection forms and diligently went over the trailer to make sure it was up to my standards. If you’ve never bought a trailer they thoroughly go over how to hook it up, check the lights and tell you the safe psi for the tires.

I’m very picky about anything I buy and can’t say enough about the whole process. They’ve earned a customer for life and I strongly recommend them for your trailer needs. You won’t be disappointed.

I would give this company a 6 star if possible. The owner of my company wanted to get new dumpsters with a roll off trailer. After doing some research finding not only is their product quality off the charts there customer service is outstanding. From start to finish Sam was on it and was always willing to help whenever needed. Shancie was great with all the paperwork, very quick and respectful. Christina came out explained everything needed to be known and the tags and contracts. Noah was top notch when it came to informing us on how to set up and use the equipment. Will 100% be coming back here for all future trailer purchases.

I had been wanting a dump trailer for a while so I stopped by to take a look and I'm glad I did. Sam took the time to explain the difference and quality of the brands they had. I have always been a quality over value kind of person and by her explaining the difference in the brands the Maxx-D was by far my choice. Sam and the whole crew made this buying process as smooth as it could possibly be. They all took the time to answer all of my questions and never once was pushy about anything. Shancie made the paper work and title process smooth and simple. Never trying to push anything that I didn't need and making sure I had everything that I did need for the intended use of the trailer. When it came time to leave Noah made sure I had a full understanding of all the features and further recommendations to keep the beast of a trailer in top condition. Thanks to the whole team here for your world class service.

I would definitely give six stars if I could!
I visited NC Trailers in Thomasville today and had a fantastic experience. We were welcomed and advised in a very friendly and professional manner. The team showed us many different options for modifying the trailer and explained everything in detail.

Within just 60 minutes, I was able to take home the perfect trailer and I’m already looking forward to putting it to use for the first time.

Keep up the great work — an amazing team at NC Trailers!

We recently purchased a 6x12 Cynergy trailer from the Thomasville location. I spent some time online looking for a trailer that fitted my needs and the huge selection offered by NC Trailers made it easy to find what I was looking for. I gave them a call and discussed with Sam my needs and options / add-ons. She sent me a quote for the trailer as discussed in a matter of minutes. We locked up the deal and I made a deposit over the phone the same day as I do not live in the area. Sam's outstanding customer service and knowledge confirmed the decision to make our purchase from them.

When I arrived to pick up the trailer Sam immediately got the purchase process started. Shaun explained all the maintenance and other protection plans available to us. There was no pressure to purchase any of these plans, but we did decide to take advantage of a couple of them for peace of mind as they were very reasonably priced for 5 years of coverage.

Tammy took care of all of the paperwork including the DMV stuff. It was nice to leave with a permanent tag in place and knowing that I didn't have to go to the DMV and handle it myself.

Noah and Christian installed the add-ons and did a full check on the trailer while all of the paperwork stuff was going on. They even stood by patiently while I told Tammy way too many stories about my old cat. Noah and Christian hooked the trailer to my truck and went over the suggested maintenance schedule and a few other recommendations for care. I felt comfortable when I pulled out of the parking lot that things were handled very well.

We traveled about 5 hours from the Outer Banks to pick up the trailer in Thomasville and they had me hooked up and on my way home in a little over an hour. Exceeded my expectations.

Overall flawless purchase from a friendly, knowledgeable and hard working staff.
