The History
NC Trailers started in 1996 with 13 trailers. Lynn and Debbie Shelton used their savings and money borrowed from family to set up shop at an old gas station they shared with a bait and tackle store. Debbie ran the store six days a week while Lynn knocked on doors up and down every four-lane road in Davidson County. Their son Johnny worked nights and weekends through high school and college, then bought the business in 2015 when Lynn and Debbie retired.
Thirty years on, we’ve sold and serviced more than 40,000 trailers for contractors, businesses, adventure seekers, and everyone in between. Today we stock over 450 trailers from Cynergy, Nolan, MAXX-D, Southland, Quality Cargo, Superior, Big Tex, Air-Tow and Polar King, plus Bedrock truck beds. Brand-New & Used Trailers for Sale
We carry both new and used, and the lot turns over constantly. Our Trailer Pros will walk it with you, ask what you’re hauling and what you’re towing with, and point you at the trailer that actually fits the job instead of the most expensive one on the row.
Every unit is priced against the market, and we back that with a 12-month price match guarantee. Find the same new trailer for less within 100 miles and we’ll refund the difference.
Financing
Most of our customers finance, and we work with more than 20 lenders to find the right fit no matter what your credit looks like. If financing isn’t the route you want, we also offer rent-to-own with no credit check. Our finance team will run the numbers with you and lay the options out plainly before you sign anything.
Parts & Accessories
We keep a deep over-the-counter inventory so you can walk in and walk out with what you need. If it isn’t on the shelf, our parts specialists will order it and let you know the moment it lands. We also handle fabrication and custom upgrades when an off-the-shelf part won’t do the job.
Service Department
Regular maintenance is the cheapest way to keep a trailer safe and working. Our shop handles preventive maintenance, axle and brake replacement, wiring and lighting, and body repair, and we perform federal DOT safety inspections on site. Our techs will tell you straight what needs doing now and what can wait.
